As the sole in-house designer at Rural Funds Management (RFM), I owned the end-to-end production of the Rural Funds Group (ASX: RFF) Annual Report across multiple financial years, a publication distributed in print to 5,000+ investors and digitally to over 14,000+ Unitholders via ASX release.

As the fund RFF is ASX-listed, every report was produced under strict disclosure deadlines and non-negotiable dates that demanded precise project management from first brief to final files. I built and owned the production timeline, coordinating across stakeholders while absorbing multiple rounds of changes without losing pace.

Each report began with strategy that includes understanding the year's key narrative before conceptualising the layout. I sourced and selected photos, including images I captured myself during farm visits to RFM's properties. For an agricultural REIT, the land itself is the product, so imagery had to feel authentic rather than stock. With visuals locked, I designed every spread from scratch, balancing dense financial data with clean layouts, developing custom illustrations and infographics to make complex metrics readable for Unitholders and advisers, all while maintaining brand consistency. Production closed with managing a 5,000+ copy print run to investor-grade quality. The result is a series of reports that do more than meet disclosure requirements, they give investors a clear window into the fund's performance, portfolio developments and the assets working behind the numbers.
